[Yaesu] MK-V receiver issue after electrical storm

Bill;
I had a similar issue, but with a 1000D. Tha radio uses a pin diode to
switch in the transmitter and a small relay to isolate the receiver. I
found the pin diode shorted. Everything worked, but like you said, the
receiver lost performance. The crazy thing is, I used a 1N4007 diode to
replace it, and it worked fine.
