I have a used FT-857, and it is in mint shape.  After spending about one
month operating in the shack as a portable, I have decided to install it in
my truck.  I ordered the CW and SSB filters, TCXO unit and CAT cable (for
rig control).

 

I am having trouble installing the filters (Y-122S and YF-122C).  I have
bent the pins sticking up from the main circuit board.  I used too much
force.  Can anyone recommend a remedy?
