My first SSB contest in 3 years. A big winter storm took the top off of one
the 80M 4-square elements last week and the wind chill has been -20F since, so
I
couldn't repair it. The other bands made up for the lack of 80M. I had my best
ever Saturday opening, went to bed at 0745Z with 1208 Q's, and was certain this
would be the year I would beat the DX stations (WP3R,WP2Z,KH7R,VE6JY). Yeah,
sure..... ( I must have been dehydrated from the heat in the shack )
