Comments:

I guess conditions weren't the best. At the last moment we decided
on going M/M with three stations set up. We knew many ops were very
parttime and we would suffer over the 48 hour period.

The first 12 hours saw all three chairs occupied. During the day on
Saturday there was an empty chair at times. We missed the JAs on 40
Saturday morning. Our 3 element full size beam still is incomplete so
we had to count on the 4 square. The JAs were barely copyable.

The next twelve hours were better but 10 meters was not its usual
money band for us (or others it seems). Plus our stack has problems
that need to be fixed. Used mostly only the top beam, 105CA.

After 24 hours we had 2000 QSOs and the overnight Saturday
looked like it was going to be a loooong night. I personally vowed
to stay awake until we had a JA on 40 meters. While waiting for
that to happen I sat on 20 meters and called CQ endlessly with
plenty of VKs and ZLs calling in. Best call-in was FK8HN
for a new multiplier. Finally at 0830Z, Kim-san, KB1DFB worked
5 JAs on 40 so I could call it a day/night. I went to bed demanding
a JA on 80 meters before anyone else snoozed. Not sure when
but K1EBY logged a JA on 80 before he went home early Sunday
morning.

When AA1CE had to leave around 1500Z, we only had two
operators until the end. N1XS and W1TJL basically stayed
on 10 and 15 running when possible. Some great mults called
in such as 9V, 5Z, TF, S9, D88, VP8, ZK1..

I am sure we could have done better with another operator on
Sunday.

I can't believe the number of e-mails that arrived during the
contest from QSOs that were taking place, both from eQSL and
direct. I kept checking my Inbox and always found new reports.

Glad to give out plenty of QSOs to the QRP stations and thank all
that called us.

Look for us as NZ1U in WPX next.
