So much for doing the pre-sprint friday night, my keyer broke 4 minutes before
the start of the contest. At 0004Z I gave up trying to fix it and made my first
QSO. It turned out to be a broken wire inside the connector for the paddle
input. I got used to using ALT-K pretty quickly for fills but nothing beats the
paddle for speed and less keystrokes. Otherwise I had a blast in this one, lots
of activity from the best CW ops sure makes for a fun time. Wish there were more
than just two CW sprints per year, how about 3, 4...
