Comments:
This was a perplexing contest. I struggled out of the
starting gate, and never quite recovered. I just wasn't
mentally in the game this year, and my score is down
significantly from last year. My 20 meter numbers are
just completely pitiful. I guess I took all of my off
time when 20m was open, because I was never able to make
it up. The bands were in fine shape, and the station
played very well. The operator was just not on top
of his game.
I had an unexpected house guest this week, as well as some
other projects that took away from my focus on the contest.
I also felt like I was learning the code all over again;
it was kind of bizzare at times. The NAQP sure has it all.
Lots of strategic decisions on band changes, time per band,
moving mults, and the one I can't seem to figure out -- Off Time.
Another great showing from the TCG! Hopefully nobody had
any trouble working TN on all six.
