Comments:
We REALLY did operate under emergency conditions. Flood warnings and watch all
weekend long. Rain for the entire operations. Standing water, turned to mud, on
ground of operations. What a mess everywhere. We did manage to work a few
contacts, not many operators showed up, but we did have 32 persons ,hams and
non-hams visit our field day site.
Even with all the problems we encounted, we were able and ready to perform. We
always have fun and enjoy visiting with visitors and elmering new hams in the
manner of contest operations. Youngest person operating was 10 years old and
oldest was 93 years old.
