Plus 1200 bonus points. K4BP was the GOTA station.
This was a good test of the new McMinn County, TN mobile command post
that the Club built over the past two months.
We had a week of rain before the start of Field Day, but excellent
weather during the operating event -- the rain started again
just as everyone was pulling away at the end.
We were operating from Knox park in Athens, TN and had
over 70 people come by and watch or operate, including the
city and county officals.
The excellent food was a big attraction, as well as the showing of
the new operating trailer.
