Another great contest, I went back to low power this time to see what a
difference it made. It makes a lot of difference. The rates were down
quite a bit from what I would have expected with higher power.
I never ever got into the swing of S&P so I was always trying to CQ on a
frequency and kept getting pushed off or not found. All the equipment worked
great this time and I could see that the beam is working good now and the
dipoles were used on 40 & 80 with the 360' long wire used on 40 when needed to
get into some directions that were off the ends of the dipole.
I will be happy to see all the DX again on the ARRL DX Contests.
