Antennas: R-8 for 40 - 10; MA4080V for 80 (and 40 phone)
Replaced my dipole with the 40/80 vertical before the contest and it payed off.
Last year I only managed 61 QSOs and 40 multipliers on 80. Since my 10 & 15 m
results were down from last year, the extra points and multipliers helped. I
also didn't have to struggle as much to make the QSO's on 80m. Some of that may
have been condtions, but I have a feeling the antenna helped a lot.
