Comments:
Well the intention for this contest was to run SOABHP from up north. When I
setup the antenna and all I discovered some key equipment was missing and as a
result could not get any match on 80,160 and 10 meters was sporadic. Therefore
the decision to go with SOSB20 low power was made a few minutes prior to the
contest :( The antenna worked fairly well on 20m but I was really annoyed just
the same. Conditions were fairly good, especially in the morning, and the band
was very quite. Based on conditions and all I was hoping to reach close to the
2K QSO mark. So I am off to Rochester this weekend to pick up what I need to
put in a much better effort next time. That all being said I still had lots of
fun especially from my remote location. Highlight was being called by VI9NI.
