Yes propagation to Europe was worse than last year. Its mid winter here so of
course 15m did not open, and 20m was not much better, with only a few poor
signals via the short path. The long path opening 2100-2300utc produced
stronger signals, but not many of them. Everyone was on 40m and 80m around that
time I guess.
Have not repaired my 80m antenna since the storm during the IOTA contest so had
to turn down many requests to qsy to that band.
So, 40m was really the only show in town, with the short path open 1500-2000utc
and long path 0300-0500utc, but the band dried up, worked everyone I could
hear.
