Comments:
My wife is working in the political campaign and left me as a single parent
with our 6 year old daughter for the weekend. I didn't think I would get much
operating time, but did pretty well on Sat night after she went to bed.
Conditions were the best I have heard in a long time. 80-20 were open long and
short at the same time (instead of just long). So it was actually possible
to work stations this side of the Mississippi River!
Once I saw the rates that were possible this year (thanks ARRL for a great
marketing and PR campaign around the contest), I worked hard to get over 1000
QSOs. Keeping my streak alive at 32 consecutive years with more than 1000
QSOs.
Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
