Comments:
I had hoped to do better, but needed more action on 80M. When I heard the guy up
the hill (N2CU) and WB8JUI working /M's on 80M that I couldn't hear, I knew
things weren't going as well as I would have liked. Noise was not an issue. Did
not spend the full 10 hours in the chair.
Lots of mobile activity: chasing them around precluded any CQing. Disappointed
to have a few mobiles run out of their counties during their runs, so some
mults were lost there. But all in all, it was a real blast - no dull moments in
this contest. AC0W showed 23 times in the log: K0PC N0IJ, N0IM at 20: NE9U at
19. AC0W and K0PC had very good sigs on 80M - too bad they couldn't hear me all
the time! Thanks to all the mobiles for their efforts.
Hope to be back next year, as this is always a fun event.MWA knows how to throw
a party!
