Comments:
XYL's brthday dinner with friends ended up with 2 alcoholic beverages = too
small a score. I was so relaxed that I missed the starting bell by a minute.
Struggled through weak signals on 20 for the first 11 minutes. Kept thinking
signals from the NE would materialize, but nada except NO3M. Everything else
was N and W. Finally realized that I needed to QSY and found 40 to be in decent
shape. I had a lot of unanswered CQs tonight. Was my signal that light? Or was
activity down? Went to 80 and picked up 6 Qs in 2:30. My best rate tonight.
Maybe I should have started on 80? What a huge difference in propagation this
week compared to last week. Still lots of fun. 73 de Art
