I put up switchable dipoles for 20M at 40 feet (as high as I can go here), and
everyone was much louder in my headset. Unfortunately, I think this led me to
keep trying on 20 much longer than my signal merited: 2 QSOs in 5 minutes.
After the first :15, I wasn't sure if I was going to reach 20 QSOs. That I made
it was the only "victory" during a tough night. I probably would have benefited
from the second radio, but darkness fell before I could get the temporary
second antenna in place.
