Still with the little TH3, Jr. FIXED (no rotor installed yet), don't have the
antenna/beam direction issues some of your had tonight. Trust me...there is
always other QLF here like forgetting to engage the remote switch between the
40m and 80m antenna;-( My suggestion: Put a note on your confuzer or radio
BEFORE the NS starts with a reminder to check your azimuth !!! I think I'm
beyond help {SIGH}.
The K1TN SuperStation was LOUD here on 20m tonight. I found N6ZFO's signal
comparison report very interesting, 'cuz I got beat out by Bill once or twice
tonight on 20m. Go figure. Kinda weird propagation though, 'cuz normally
Todd/WD0T whacks my RX well over S9 but tonight was about 559 almost sounding
like a European polar path signal. Go figure that one too. Missed a LOT of
mults on 20m. Congrats to Ken/N6RO - The NCCC MultMaster on 20m tonight.
Hard to believe I missed hearing and/or working many of the NS Regulars again
tonight. I hate it when that happens.
Looks like I will miss the real deal on Saturday. Possibly on in the last hour
to make a few Q's. We shall see.
73 & Tnx for the Q's and Mults...
Rick, K6VVA * The Locust
