Comments:
A "sneak in the basement for the start of every new band segment" part time
effort to give out the MD multiplier to the deserving. The 15db drop going from
operating the CW Sprint at N3OC (towers/beams/1.5kw) to SSB at home (wire/500W)
was pretty noticeable, but band conditions seemed pretty good. On 80, the 6s
weren't strong but there no noise so they were easy copy. I worked a few PAs in
their contest on 80 phone, as well.
I finally realized N5LCC was Pat W5WMU and asked him for a Sprint-style
contact, after working him first on 20 as an LA QSP contact, so picked up that
multiplier.
