Comments:
Really had fun using skimmer on VE7CC site. Saw my occassional spots come up on
a W3LPL telnet window that I ran for awhile. Don't have VE7CC set up to see who
is spotting, so that was nice. Was my first point-and-click CW contest. Hope I
still stay motivated to learn how to run, but it's less important than it was a
year ago thanks to skimmer. It was apparent that my signal on 80 wasn't very
clean, so one of these days I will probably upgrade from my 5BTV to a 43 ft.
vertical. Have given some thought to OCF dipole but that might delay getting
the more aesthetic, simple solution.
