Comments:
After running N1MM with K5YAA for KSQP, I hit PageUp/PageDown for the first ten
minutes to change CW speed. However, this doesn't work in Win-Test :) So, I
fumbled around trying to get myself accustomed to WT again after being away for
a few months. One day before I die, I'll make 300 in CW low power. Maybe
February.
Seemed like activity was down but conditions were fairly good. Had sporadic QRN
on 80 from nearby lightning that made it pretty tough. That said, this was the
best the 80m stuff has played, so I'm really happy.
NX5M came and fixed the 80m NW and W beverages on Saturday afternoon which
helped a ton. He stayed in the shack most of the contest watching the radar,
but I kept telling him that "I just need xx more minutes!"
Thanks to Eric for putting the team together.
Next week, we'll be running W1AW/5 on a few bands/modes late in the week and
weekend. I'm still on the fence about whether or not to do SSB Sprint.
