Without antenna capability on 80/160, my mult total was weak. I should have not
taken any breaks early on in the contest. I was working away on 40 when all of
the sudden everyone left (for 80/160 I assume) and all I could here were a
handful of CA stations and NX5M who I had already worked. I ended up throwing
in the towel after 9 hours.
My homebrew 10M beam paid off, turned into lots of QSO's. On 10 and 20, there
were times I was out of my league, thanks to all who had patience while I
stumbled over myself with the exchanges.
I talked lot of trash to the stations from WI with the big game tomorrow
(Seahawks vs Packers), I hope the hometown boys can get it done.
