Comments:

Was sorry to have missed last week's good propagation, but we had just brought
our new puppy home for his first night away from the breeder. Heard N3QE, AA7V
on 15 meters, S0 minus 10 dB, and that was it, so I moved to 20 and fared only
marginally better, but signals were louder. Good signals on 40 from all but the
upper Midwest.

I made progress on identifying my neighborhood power line arc source during my
absence from NS these past 2 weeks and notified the local utility of the
specific pole location. In the process I also found a neighbor's electric fence
around her garden - that will take more diplomacy to effect a reduction in
noise. The power line arc source is S9+ on 160 and 80 meters, slightly lower
levels on 40 and 20, and the electric fence is the prime culprit on 15 meters -
the noise blanker takes it out nicely though.

Thanks for the Qs! MikeNH
