Comments:

What a load of fun y'all provided this morning!

Condx seemed really weird at times, with, for example, some 6 stations booming
in (K6RB) on 40, then others barely readable. Strong, quick QSB on 40 at
times, too. But, I must have found the 'sweet spot' for running this morning,
because I had almost zero interference from other stations, and I think there
were only a couple of stations I could not pull out of my noise level.
Huge thanks to all who stuck with me on 20m, too, while I was running. Some
'big gun' stations were barely above noise and I had to ask for repeats (yep,
Dallas, K1DW, I'm embarrassed about that), but it was just condx. Plus, my
friend, Jim, KE8G, had to send his call twice while my old, slow fingers were
trying to correct that '9' I had entered by mistake and my feeble brain
couldn't decide whether to just send his call with the key or fix the Entry
Window in N1MM+ and shoot back at him.

Anyway, overall it seemed like a great time for all. Thanks, too, to Summer
for calling me on two bands. It's always great to hear Summer's bug signal
from the cold North!

Now, I'm wondering....how did my cross-town rival, AB5OR, do this morning? I
will bet he tore me up (he usually does)! I don't even want to take his calls
when he buzzes me to harrass me about how much farther down the 3830 list I am
beneath him. Oh well, maybe someday when I get up a real antenna. Or not!
:-)

73,
