Comments:
We couldn't operate full time due to N2NT and N2NC wanting to operate the NCJ CW
Sprint contest Saturday night. We operated until 23Z the first day. Conditions
seemed a bit up on Saturday towards the northeast and Sunday was good to the
northwest towards VE3 for a while.
A few memorable contacts were AA4ZZ(EM96df) on 222 @486 miles and NA4D(EM77fh)
on 2m @633 miles. Thanks to NA4D for being persistently calling on CW for
quite a long time. It was a real old fashioned radio contact. No internet
chat rooms involved. Ha ha.
Operated quite a bit of new WSJT fast mode MSK144 on 6 and 2 meteors. The
performance of the mode is impressive. Thank you to K1JT, K9AN and the rest of
the development team.
73,
John N2NC, for the N2NT VHF team
