Comments:

Fun, relaxed operation. I really enjoyed the nice little surprises in
propagation. Having always been amazed by propagation, this type of event
becomes more about propagation than rate ans score for me.

I made under 100 Qs on Sunday - prop not nearly as generous as it was on
Saturday.

Saturday provided an excellent E opening for most of the day to W0, W9 and W5.
Propagation to the west coast was great at times as well. Nice to catch KH6 on
CW and SSB Saturday. Not many VEs logged but nice to get VE7 on Saturday and a
late E opening to VE1/VE3 area on Sunday for a few more.

The biggest surprise was being called by PA0O around 1 p.m. local Sunday. I'm
still confused over that one.

I heard V51YJ but was unable to raise him on Sunday.

Not much going on at night, but had a nice little flurry of FL stations on
Saturday night.

Overall, things were way better than anticipated.

Station: Ten Tec Centurion and Drake L4B
Kenwood 590 rigs
Spiderbeam at 66 feet, another at 32 feet. Two element wire yagi fixed NW and a
TH2 fixed south at 35 feet.

73 and Happy Holidays,

Nate/N4YDU
