Comments:

I set up my station on remotehams and attempted to work this session from a
coffee shop.

Since I use OSX I had to run the RCForb client in a virtual machine, and I had
60ms of network latency between the coffee shop and the shack. I just set up
the remotehams server last night and so have not had a chance to monitor my own
transmitted signal or set up proper keying.

I think that keying using the client software worked fine, but keying via N1MM
did not work and probably sent gibberish, so I went back to sending using the
client software and called it quits after a few minutes of operating.

Anyway, thanks to all who helped with my little experiment. Overall remotehams
seems like a very well designed system. I didn't have to make any changes to the
sound card setup I typically use for digital modes. Next step is to fix the
sidetone issue and determine whether latency is acceptable for CWT.

73 and thanks for the Qs
