Comments:
Fun run this morning. It's great to hear some calls that had virtual cobwebs on
them, but especially my cross-town rival (although there is no way I can keep up
with him!), Joe Moffatt, AB5OR.
Funny...I didn't work--or hear--a single non-member this morning. But, I did
stop several times and make recordings of several runners in order to get some
audio examples of top-notch ops managing a run freq. I need to build more
content in my example library, so I might just record YOU in the future.
For those who keep asking, my hand is healing very nicely. Went to the hand
specialist yesterday and he saw, via x-rays, that the bone in my middle finger
had healed so well that he allowed me to take off the brace that's been on
there for 10 1/2 weeks! Now, it't just a band-aid, but I still don't have
flexibility in either my middle or my ring finger of the right hand, so keep
bearing with me as I try to peck out call signs on this keyboard.
73,
