Operated from home QTH in EM74. Barefoot Yaesu FT-847 to 16 elements 70 feet
above ground. Ground elevation 3200 feet. Activity seemed much better than in
past years. Best QSO's were to N4SVC to the south at 300 miles. WA4ZKO to the
north at 286 miles and N1GC to the east at 208 miles. Was limited to 50 watts
out from the 847 as my 8877 amp is still down. Sure was great to work some of
the stations here in the Southeast. ON4KSK chat page looked very busy for the
folks up north. Thanks to all for your participation. I hope you had fun! See
