Comments:

First off, I discovered Friday evening (at the start) that I was going to get
PLENTY of sleep AND I feared not one bit of 'overstepping my Off-time hours
allotment' for THIS contest.

Saturday morning was dragging along with very little activity so when my XYL
called me with some eggs 'N toast offering, I dashed upstairs to answer the
bell. After an appropriate time of attendance, I excused myself and returned to
the Catacombs.

Much to my surprise - what did appear - but dozens of signals on CW from there
and HERE! Although I was in 'Mixed' category, I stuck with the plethora of
mults and (for me a barely manageable rate) for just over an hour. And then as
soon as it started, it stopped. I went up to SSB & it was bicameral - an
equal opportunity abuser as it were.

I opened my iBooks and bought a Harlan Coben novel, "Six Years" and
began my next mission. Others on here have registered their distaste for we
CQers but if we are not calling, who would answer. Being the nature of vernal
10m's, every once in a blue moon and actual new mult would spring from the
embers.

After about six chapters however, I left the shack only to return the next
morning. Like other reports, a few locals but when the 'appointed hour' of a
possible repeat of Saturday came once again, alas dismal disappointment.

I stuck with the book however and after 1/2 of the book was consumed (and only
ten new Qs,) I pushed lots of buttons and ceased operations for good.

Thanks for all the repeats from the eastern states on Saturday as lots of the
signals had fairly rapid Es QSB.

73 and Happy Holidays (and Easter) if I don't see you before then,

WN6K -Paul
