Comments:

Started on 80. At 0330Z had 83/83. I had one stumble at 0340-43 with no QSOs.
Lots of CQing with no answers. At 0340Z had 100/100. At 0350Z had 118x118.
There were a couple other minutes with no QSOs.

I need to be louder. Maybe the 4 square will take care of it next year. Went to
160 with 6 minutes left and picked up 8 mults (of course not a seamless band
change.) I always struggle to figure out if it is worth it to stay on a band, so
I will start migrating to SO2R if possible.

Antennas: 80 inverted vee at 40 ft, 160 inverted vee at 80 ft. The 80 vertical
wire got tangled in the 40 + mph winds last night and the chicken wire rolled up
like a jelly roll. I got it sorted out during daylight anticipating a snow
storm this weekend, but it almost drags on the ground and the SWR is not perfect
any more so I didn't use it. I used the SAL30 for the first time and inverted
vee for receive. The 900 ft NE beverage seemed a disadvantage due to the
quickness of the contest. Lots of work, but helped for the weaker guys out west
as I could verify their call and get the report and not need many repeats. I
still have to tune it as some directions don't seem to have much directivity.
Need more work in the shack to automate switching, but CWT is too much fun.

My XYL knows when they are held and brings coffee and a sandwich for breakfast
before the contest. We have dinner a bit early so I can do a bit of DXing
before the evening contest.

Had an MRI today. So cool, so much power, something like - 440VAC, 3 phase,
400A. Hope the brain cancer is gone.
