Comments:
The 2K-FA is still producing chirping noises inside the cabinet on 40m (even
though the SWR is low enough to use the internal ATU) at anything above about
850 watts; no problem running 1500w on 80m (where the antenna SWR is high enough
to require an external manual tuner (I use a Palstar)) or 20m (internal ATU). I
thought the problem was resolved when I discovered and repaired a poor ground
connection behind the radio desk, but it seems not.
