Glad that FT8 was integrated into the contest (and kudos to N1MM+).
RTTY
-- faster rate, offset somewhat for time to tune next station (S&P)
-- more forgiving of fumbles (a human knows the next thing to do)
-- more of a sense that someone else is there ;)
FT8
-- no time wasted to tune to the next station
-- much farther distances possible (weak signal mode)
-- not forgiving of user mistakes (extended 'ping pong', dupe entries)
-- tastes vary, but it seems agonizingly slow
-- frustrating that many more FT8 non-contesters were on (and unavailable)
