Comments:

Lots of activity on 40 so stayed there the whole time. 47 Q in the first 16
minutes was a good sign and there was good coverage of the USA. Midwest was
week. At 1325 had 71 Q, another good sign. At 1330 91 QSO, 1342 had 125.
Started to slow down, but lots of guys spotted to S&P. Not successful with
a lot of them. 1346Z 137 QSOs.

The Flex and N1MM hung in TX quite a bit and sometimes seemed like the VOX was
tripping. Esc did not work most of the time. The A VFO knob of the Maestro jumps
around so it was not too good for tuning the band looking for guys. This is the
second time it has been broken and my remote tuning knob has the same problem.
Typical of Flex quality. I did not bother trying to use the SteppIR on 40 since
it so rarely works. Just used the inverted vee with no receive antennas since
the band was quiet.

Back to bed. Can't walk again. Only one good day in the last month.
