Comments:

Strange night. Fifteen meters was open, but not nearly as open as some had it.
Noise was S-Zero so made several contacts literally as S0 levels.

Twenty was wild. But as usual my contacts did not yield as many mults as I
hoped. Forty was tough for me, even with good antennas. Strange skip and some
very stations on the west coast here. All in all, pretty good night, especially
since apparently I fell into the "fifteen is open and I'm going to work
some guys" trap and had a terrible first five minutes:

Five min segments: 4, 10, 13, 6, 9, and 10. Two very poor ones interspersed with
some good ones. Thanks three baggers with N3QE, N4DW,K4OAQ, and K7GK. No W9RE at
all tonignt ... hope all is OK. KZ5D and I spent a little while after the bell
rang on 80 and apparently Art lost a receiver. Very sorry to hear that.

Have not checked 3830 scores, never do before writing my report, but look for
some killer numbers from up around the Great Lakes way and perhaps the West
Coast.

Thanks for another round of great action.

73, Jim N3BB
