Great fun and learned lots!
I operated while camping at Stephen F. Austin State Park in south Texas.
Radios: IC-706MKIIG and KX3
Antennas: WRC vertical and OFC dipole up about 35ft (OFC worked the best).
Club: Bryan ARC (my local club in Aggieland)
My CW filter in the 706 is 500HZ and not narrow enough to operate effectively
during contests, so I switched to my KX3 about one hour into field day and
operated at 15 watts.
I'll be ordering a 250 HZ filter for the IC-706 when I can find one.
I look forward to FD 2021!!
