Comments:
This was a tough contest.
First night: could not work any EU on 40 it seemed.
The rising K-index wreaked havoc at this latitude. There were times it seemed
like an 'off switch' had been thrown on the bands, only to 're-open' a bit
later.
Biggest surprises:
1. I established a run on 10 meters largely with SA stations on Sunday
afternoon.
2. 40 meters recovered on Sunday afternoon and I worked a lot of Eu.
3. Fewer JA stations this contest.
4. More Stations from China and they were much easier to work on Sunday.
5. The number of US stations who continue to call despite getting no points. I
had to record DX only on the voice recorder on Sunday to stop the onslaught of
US Stations calling when trying to run on 15 and 20 meters.
