Comments:
As usual, I'm using this strictly SnP effort primarily as an equipment and setup
test. I can run 1500w on the three bands I operate. The antenna is adjusted well
enough on 40 and 20 that the seemingly fussy amplifier's internal ATU works
perfectly (what a delight)... but the ATU won't swallow the antenna's
maladjustment on 80m so the Palstar manual is needed.
The HF9V, only recently moved from the roof to the ground, has only TWO radials,
80m and 40m. It gets out fine on 40 and 20, but on 80 even the 1.5Kw is having
some trouble. Obviously I know the new antenna arrangement is not finished, and
I'm grateful for what I'm getting under these stop-gap circumstances!
