Comments:
My internal clock fired at 0322Z and the
filament was ready for HP just 2 minutes
later. Everything was set for 7 MHz and
HA8RM was booming in. There were plenty
of fair USA signals, but with horrendous
pile-ups, so I was too weak to get through
even during the rare CQ breaks. My own
CQ's were not productive for Europe either
except during the last 2 minutes. A short
visit to 3.5 MHz at 0355Z showed a 'quiet'
band (i.e. no CWT traffic). Britain seemed
still blocked out, but I heard G3LDI G3YLA.
