Comments:
The geomagnetic unrest was mainly 1600Z - 1800Z
with up 50 gigawatts and the CWT 1900Z session
was VERY quiet (below 15 GW), and not the K = 6
as forecast for the 1800Z - 2400Z window.
I wanted to complete the 40 QSO's on 40 m before
sliding to 3.5 MHz. Signals were good on both
bands, and with double the time available, I got
almost twice the amount of Q's than in the 1300Z
session, despite the harsh local noise on 3.5 MHz.
There were a dozen 40 wpm stations in SE5E's last
two minutes and time ran out for my QRQ attempts.
