What is the measured resistance of the 100 ohm VHF parasitic suppressor
resistor, John?
Did the bandswitch first arc when the amplifier was mistuned?
I would like to measure the voltage withstanding ability of the unarced
contacts on the toasted SB-1000 bandswitch. If you are agreeable, I will
pay the round trip postage. If this is ok with you, do I have your
permission to put a photograph of the bandswitch on my Web site, along
with the withstanding voltage measurements, and give you full credit--
just in case I get sued by the amp's designer?
