I wonder if the plate voltage meter is telling lies. The output looks ok
(same as mine does) for the drive and current if the voltage was around
2kV - I assume the current is .7A.
I've switched mine onto 6m - added 3 x 1000pF NPO with no lead length on
each grid and there's no sign of feedback. I've also replaced the fan
with a 100cfm type which runs at full speed all the time.
