Try Loading the amp a little lighter (point where the grid current drops off
quicklybut power output only drops a little) for maybe 40ma of grid current,
then increase drive, retweaking the Plate tuning. For 1500w output, you should
be around 40w drive, 1100ma IP, and 40-60ma IG on CW keydown, provided the amp
is providing at least 60-70% efficiency. Your Ip sounded a little on the low
side.....
