How about an external fixed network between the 850 and the rig, maybe with
a 3-position switch for 12, 17 and thru? I'm not smart enough to know how
to calculate component values, but presumably an L or T would give you the
needed transformation, and if you can measure the input parameters of the
amp on those bands you should be able to figure the values from handbook
formulas.
