Do you still have filament voltage?  I would check that first.  Perhaps 
something blew in the filament supply line or something.  Personally, I 
haven't heard of filaments just going dark in tubes that had previously 
been working fine.  That's not to say it can't happen, but from what I 
know of these things, emissions gradually decrease over time.  Yet I 
suppose like a light bulb, a filament could just open up.  Is there a 
switch on the AL-80 to measure filament voltage?  Is it correct?
