        Delrin is a homopolymer acetal compound which has a melting
temperature of 347 degrees F. There is also available blended Delrins,for
eg Delrin AF and others that have Teflon added for other properties for
heavy friction applications. The dissapation factor of unfilled Delrin is
.005 at 10 Mhz and filled Delrin it is .010. The dielectric constant is
approximately 3.7 for unfilled and 3.1 for filled.
        Higher temperature compounds are Glassfilled Ketrons and Torlons
which are rated up to 500-650 deg F and I suspect be ok for harsh
applications in any environment in the HF-UHF area.
