Yes the 572s will certainly handle more drive. Page 35-8 of the 1994 ARRL
Handbook states that for a pair of 572s operating at 2400 Ep, with an Ip of
500 mA, power out should be ~ 600 watts with 100 watts of drive. I think
this is a bit much on the drive. Generally with a pair of 572s you will
achieve no more output after about 80 watts of drive. eg, each tubes needs
around 40 watts max. for full out.

page 35-8 in the 1994 ARRL Handbook suggests no more than 12 watts of drive
per tube for the 811A with an Ep of 1250 vdc and a max Ip of 175 mA. You
should see around 165 watts out.
