working in the semiconductor industry, I couldn't agree more!
It's called 'applicable technology'.
Plus nearly 20 years in this industry leads me to beleive that semiconductor
manufacturers are, on the whole, if not crooks, certainly the guys you
wouldn't buy a used car (or a used 4CX250B) from!
