I'm not familiar with this amp, but the problem on an SB-220 was solved
very nicely with a 220-ohm 1/2 watt resistor in series with the relay
control line.  Alternatively, a transistor switch keyed by, say, 12 volts
from the transceiver is very easy to build in.
