Hi George,

Paralleling PIN diodes is a fine way to increase the power handling of a 
circuit.  I don't see any problems other than the fact that as you point 
out, junction C is increased.  However, that may be pretty minimal as it 
is and it might not affect operation that much.  You'll have less loss 
since you are reducing your resistance.  I and a couple of PIN diode 
experts have recommended this to commercial designers who were working on 
portable SMR radios.  We were suggesting going to using 2 plastic diodes 
instead of one expensive ceramic MELF type PIN diode.  I don't know why 
it wouldn't work for you.
