Please let me make it clear that I am NOT an advocate of the DAF
amplifier. My post was a concern that posting an IMD number for possibly
just one amp, without any reference to the total conditions of the test,
was simply doing a disfavor to the readers. BTW, I believe that the
early write up of the amp also involved the 813 which was a very linear
tube for its day, much moreso than the 4-125. Here's to more LINEAR
amplifiers!
